How do you wash shoes in a washing machine?

Whether you have just enjoyed a muddy walk with the little ones, or you have just been caught in an unexpected rain shower, it is possible to get your shoes looking as good as new again in no time at all.

Here’s how to wash your Romika shoes in the washing machine:

Step 1 – prepare the shoe

Remove all of the laces and scrub any loose dirt from the shoe’s surface. One of the best ways to do this is using an old toothbrush. It’s important that all excess debris and dirt is removed before they go in your washing machine.

Step 2 – protect your shoes

Before you put your shoes in the washing machine, pop them in a mesh laundry bag. This will prevent them from becoming damaged if they get snagged in the drum.

If you don’t have a mesh laundry bag – don’t worry! You can also use a pillowcase, this is just as effective.

Step 3 – prepare your machine

30 degrees is the optimum temperature to wash your shoes!
